Aventura con un elefante/Adventure with an elephant

¿Qué pasaría si un día, saliendo de tu casa o de la escuela, te encontraras un pequeño elefante. El elefante no es cualquier elefante. Es, más bien, un elefante muy especial porque es de color rosa mexicano. Me dirás que eso no es posible, que los elefantes son de color gris pero yo te diré que este elefante, desde que nació, es de ese color tan especial para uno de su especie.
Ahora viene lo divertido...
Como sé que tienes mucha imaginación, quiero que imagines:
1. ¿Por qué es de ese color?
2. ¿Es niño o niña?
3. ¿Qué dijeron su mamá y papá cuando, al nacer, se dieron cuenta que su elefantito era tan diferente a los demás? Seguramente lo quisieron mucho desde el momento que lo vieron pero, aun así, les ha de haber sorprendido mucho.
4. ¿Qué hace afuera de tu casa o de tu escuela sin su mamá o su papá?
5. ¡No se te olvide darle un nombre!

Y ya que hayas imaginado todo eso, cuéntate un cuento a ti mismo o a tus hermanos (aunque sean muy molones) sobre el elefantito (hasta le puedes cambiar de color si el rosa mexicano no te gusta tanto). ¡Te vas a divertir mucho! Además, lo puedes escribir y puedes hacer tus propias ilustraciones.

What would happen if one day, on the way out of your house or school, you found a small elephant? This elephant is no normal elephant. In fact, it's a very special elephant because it's bright pink! You'll say that that's not possible, that elephants are gray, but I'll tell you that this elephant, since the day it was born, is that very strange color for one of its kind. 
Now comes the fun part...
Since I know you have a lot of imagination, I want you to imagine:
1. Why is it that color?
2. Is it a boy or a girl?
3. What did its mom or dad say when it was born and they knew that their baby was different to all the rest? Surely they loved it from the moment they first saw it but, even so, they must have been very surprised.
4. What is is doing outside of your house or school without its mom or dad?
5. Don't forget to give it a name!

Now that you've imagined all that, tell yourself a story about the little elephant and/or tell it to your brothers and/or sisters (even though they bother you) and you can even change it's color if you don´t like bright pink that much. You're going to have a lot of fun! Besides, you can write it down and make your own illustrations.
